Data Privacy Policy – LearnDynamics Academy

1. General

For general information on the processing of personal data—such as the identity and contact details of the controller, data processing in connection with use of our website, and your data subject rights—please refer to our Privacy Policy at https://learndynamics.de/en/data-privacy-policy/. The following provisions apply specifically to the use of the LearnDynamics Academy platform (the “Platform”).

2. User Account

When you create a user account, we collect the personal information you provide (“Master Data”). Information such as name, title, or date of birth is optional. Mandatory information is limited to the data required to provide the functionality of the user account: your email address (which also serves as your username) and a password of your choice.

3. Use of Learning Content

When you use the Learning Content on the Platform, usage data is generated—for example, information about which content you accessed and when (learning progress), and, where applicable, which learning assessments you completed and with what result.

4. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We process your Master Data and usage data to provide you with access to the Learning Content licensed to you and to administer your learning process appropriately. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the User Agreement concluded with us when you created your user account).

5. Storage Period

We retain your personal data until you delete your user account and thereby terminate the User Agreement, or until you request the erasure of your personal data.

6. Recipients of Personal Data

The Platform is hosted by blink.it GmbH, c/o Regus, Berliner Allee 47, 64295 Darmstadt, Germany, our technical service provider. The associated processing of personal data is carried out on our behalf. We have entered into a data processing agreement with the service provider in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. Your personal data is therefore processed exclusively for the purposes described above and in accordance with our instructions.
